Falling into Autumn

These last couple of weeks in Kindergarten have been full of hard work and beautiful fall sunshine!

Mrs. De La Paz happy to be back working with her students once again, though she definitely misses that darling baby every day! Her students are working hard at learning their color words. You should see the beautiful turkeys they made hanging in the classroom.

Mrs. O'Keefe's class has been finding TONS of word wall words in their new poetry folders. They are getting good at reading their sight words!

Miss Hollingsworth's class has enjoyed learning about The First Thanksgiving. They have had a chance to be Pilgrims in dramatic play, and have even experimented with building Lincoln Log houses in the block center.

Mrs. Rogers' students are some amazing writers! Just this week they compared two stories on bears and then wrote non-fictional pieces about bears and teddy bears.

As always, we are working hard to be the BEST Kindergarteners ever! Thanks for reading and leaving us comments!
