Oh MY goodness. Kindergarten has been SOOO busy working hard since Thanksgiving time that our poor blog has missed out on hearing the action! Well, no fear, we are still here!
Christmas is well past, and we have worked hard through all of January. The students are looking forward to starting February on Monday, especially with the 100th day of school only FOUR days away!
Mrs. De La Paz's class has been working so hard on their writing! You should see all the good information they learned about penguins out on their bulletin board.
Miss Hollingsworth's class has been working on understanding what is living and nonliving! We made a circle map for each, and Miss Hollingsworth was excited to see how our handwriting is improving as we wrote on the class' circle map!
Mrs. O'Keefe's class did a really cool lesson this week! They practiced sounding-out words and writing them down TOGETHER, with Mrs. O'Keefe checking to see how good they were at it! They did some really great thinking and problem solving as they wrote!
Mrs. Rogers' class made the most BEAUTIFUL snowflakes with their different shapes last week. It was almost as good as the real thing. They are SO good at following pattern-making directions!
That's all for now but more to come!
Looking for a groundhog's shadow NEXT WEEK! :)
